Role & Responsibilities

  • Model and reinforce Kate Spade service behaviours and selling standards on the sales floor.
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling, including clienteling, client outreach and loyalty program engagement.
  • Coach and develop the sales team: recruit, onboard, set goals, review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR) and manage performance.
  • Act as Store Leader in their absence and foster an inclusive, motivating team culture.
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create and execute action plans to address business opportunities and optimize sell-through.
  • Partner with corporate teams to analyse market and sell-through data and translate findings into in-store strategies.
  • Champion brand visual standards and execute visual directives to ensure an impeccable store environment.
  • Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, inventory management and cycle counts to maintain operational excellence.
  • Manage scheduling and payroll budgets, adjust staffing to business needs and ensure compliance with policies and loss-prevention standards.
  • Leverage social media trends and host live stream shopping sessions to drive engagement and traffic.
  • Capture and manage customer data to support marketing initiatives and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or comparable environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to coach to results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with retail systems.
  • Proven ability to analyse selling reports, identify trends and implement corrective action.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Experience
