Kate Spade New York is hiring an Assistant Store Leader in Ellenton, Florida. Lead omni-channel sales, clienteling and store operations at Ellenton Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Model and drive Kate Spade service behaviors and high-energy client-focused selling on the sales floor.
- Lead omni-channel and virtual selling efforts, including clienteling, loyalty outreach and maintaining client books.
- Recruit, onboard and develop diverse retail talent; provide coaching, performance management and development plans.
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; set clear goals, review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR) and create action plans to meet targets.
- Act as Store Leader in their absence and foster an inclusive, motivating team culture.
- Execute visual merchandising directives and maintain immaculate brand and store standards.
- Oversee operational activities including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, schedules and payroll budgets.
- Manage inventory processes, cycle counts and shipment accuracy; ensure compliance with safety, loss-prevention and company policies.
- Operate and leverage live stream shopping and social media trends to drive engagement and sales.
- Capture and communicate customer data, sell-through and stock trends to inform merchandising and marketing decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable customer-facing environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven leadership, communication and organizational capabilities with experience coaching to measurable results.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with retail systems and POS platforms.
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends and translate insights into corrective action.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; able to climb, bend and maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of retail supervisory or management experience in a fashion or lifestyle retail environment; demonstrable track record of coaching teams to sales KPIs and executing omni-channel initiatives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail leadership experience will be considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Ellenton, Florida, USA, with easy access to Tampa.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
