Tapestry is hiring an Assistant Manager, Store Design in South East Asia (Singapore) to lead regional retail design projects and ensure brand excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end store design projects across South East Asia, including new openings, refurbishments and visual merchandising rollouts.
  • Manage regional project schedules, budgets and procurement for FF&E, fixtures and finishes while ensuring compliance with brand standards.
  • Produce, review and approve design documentation: schematic plans, working drawings, construction details and finish specifications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders — retail operations, construction contractors, local landlords, brand marketing and external vendors — to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct site surveys and quality inspections, resolve onsite technical issues and sign off on installations.
  • Maintain and update regional design libraries, asset registers and vendor databases; ensure consistent application of global design guidelines.
  • Support development of scalable design solutions that balance brand aesthetics, local regulatory requirements and cost efficiencies.
  • Occasional regional travel to job sites for program management, stakeholder briefings and quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or related discipline.
  • Strong technical competency in producing and interpreting construction drawings, FF&E specifications and finish schedules.
  • Demonstrable experience managing budgets, procurement and contractors in a retail environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills across multicultural teams.
  • Ability to travel regionally and work flexibly to meet project timelines.

Experience

Five or more years of professional experience in retail store design, architecture or interior design with proven project management responsibility; experience delivering multiple store openings or refurbishments across APAC/SEA preferred and experience within a luxury or premium retail environment is highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or a closely related field.
