Tapestry Assistant Manager, Store Design
Coach (Tapestry) seeks an Assistant Manager, Store Design in New York to oversee store projects across Greater China, Korea and Japan (hybrid).

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage new store openings, renovations, enhancements and concept rollouts from feasibility through to store opening for assigned markets (Greater China, Korea, Japan).
- Review and produce construction and millwork drawings, ensuring accuracy of dimensions, materials and detailing for fit-out and bespoke joinery.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Visual Merchandising, Sales, Business Development, Construction and external contractors to align design, brand standards, schedule and budget.
- Update project documentation and drawings to reflect business needs, site constraints and cost control measures.
- Monitor project timelines, approve technical documentation for shop drawings and RFIs, and escalate risks to senior management.
- Conduct site visits and quality reviews as required; liaise with local teams and external partners to ensure compliant and timely execution.
- Support senior store design leadership on concept adaptation and regional requirements; prepare deliverables and presentation material as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in architecture, drafting or retail design; experience with store rollouts and millwork detailing strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and millwork drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate across geographies and functions.
- Highly organized self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Experience
At least 3+ years in an architecture, drafting, or retail design role with hands-on experience reviewing construction and millwork drawings and coordinating store fit-outs or renovations. Prior exposure to cross-functional retail teams and project management for multi-market rollouts is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 80,000 per annum.
