Tapestry (Coach & Kate Spade) seeks a Temporary Allocator in London. Responsible for allocation, replenishment and inventory planning across stores and e‑commerce.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Buying teams to develop and execute initial allocation strategies for launches across stores and e‑commerce.
  • Analyse store-level sales and inventory performance to optimise replenishment and maintain target stock levels by SKU (style/size/color).
  • Execute allocation and replenishment activities, liaising with the distribution centre and warehouse to plan and schedule deliveries.
  • Produce weekly sales and inventory reports and ad hoc analysis to support commercial decision making and fill‑rate evaluation.
  • Recommend stock movement and replenishment actions based on style and category performance reviews.
  • Manage cross‑functional queries and communicate newness arrival timing to business partners and stores.
  • Determine inventory requirements for new store openings across Europe and support allocations in the absence of other team members.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in merchandise allocation, inventory planning or replenishment within retail—preferably fashion/apparel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, changeable retail environment.
  • Comfortable working with point‑of‑sale, warehouse and planning teams across different time zones.

Experience

Typically 2+ years of hands‑on experience in retail allocation, merchandise planning or inventory management, ideally within fashion or multi‑brand retail. Experience supporting new store openings and working with buying, VM and distribution teams is advantageous.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Retail, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline preferred.
