Coach (Tapestry) seeks an Allocation Analyst (2-year contract) in Kuala Lumpur to lead SEA product allocation and inventory planning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute allocation and inventory strategies for SEA retail and outlet channels to meet sales, margin, turn and inventory targets.
- Plan and manage initial allocations for newness and seasonal launches; execute weekly replenishment and coordinate store-to-store transfers to optimise on-hand inventory.
- Perform in‑season sales and inventory analysis (door profiling, category plans, trends, seasonality, events) to identify regional re‑balancing opportunities and product productivity improvements.
- Coordinate with DC/logistics to align inbound/outbound shipment schedules and volume projections to ensure timely stockflow.
- Partner cross‑functionally (retail management, visual merchandising, marketing) to prioritise stores/products for launches, promotions and new store openings.
- Communicate allocation plans, delivery status and inventory strategies to stores and internal stakeholders; visit stores bi‑weekly to validate assumptions and implement action plans.
- Manage allocation processes for markdowns, promotions and new store openings; drive business process reengineering and optimise system capabilities.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of retail experience; prior merchandise allocation or planning experience preferred.
- Proven track record in buying, merchandising or allocation for a multinational brand.
- Experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Strong analytical capability with demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
- Experience with merchandising/planning systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- BA/BS degree in merchandising, business, finance, economics or supply chain.

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in retail with hands‑on allocation, merchandising or planning responsibility; experience supporting multinational brands and managing direct reports is preferred.
Education
BA/BS in merchandising, business, finance, economics, supply chain or equivalent.
