Tapestry seeks an Accounting Analyst in Singapore to support global closing processes, inter-company reconciliations, and tax compliance across Southeast Asia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Tapestry US GAAP monthly closing processes within the S4 SAP environment
- Generate closing-related deliverables and financial reports for consolidation purposes
- Perform inter-company charge backs, reconciliations, and settlement of inter-company balances
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliation files in Blackline systems
- Process month-end journal entries including SG&A accruals and related accounting adjustments
- Ensure compliance with internal Tapestry SOX controls and requirements
- Provide local statutory audit support under respective Southeast Asia GAAP standards
- Complete indirect and direct tax return filings and payments across SEA entities
- Support inventory and payroll accounting closing tasks and reconciliations
- Participate in ad-hoc projects including SAP enhancements, robotic process automation, and tax compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance departments at multinational corporations or professional accounting firms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with S4 SAP general accounting and direct and indirect tax concepts
- Prior experience with Big Four accounting firms is advantageous
