Tapestry — Accounting Analyst (9‑month contract) in Singapore. Support retail accounting for SEA & ANZ, monthly close, BlackLine, audit liaison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support retail accounting activities for Southeast Asia (SEA) and Australia‑New Zealand (ANZ), including region-wide month‑end processes and reconciliations.
- Raise rental invoices for the SEAO region and manage monthly sales reporting to landlords.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and upload supporting documentation to BlackLine.
- Assist with monthly closing activities for the Retail Accounting function and ensure timely posting and reconciliations.
- Liaise with external auditors on statutory audits and sales statement requests.
- Support SOX control activities and ensure all internal control processes comply with corporate policy.
- Adopt and apply AI‑enabled and system automation features (e.g., Copilot) to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in control, business improvement and cross‑functional initiatives; provide backup support to other accounting team members and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2–3 years' relevant experience in an accounting or finance role within a multinational company, ideally with exposure to retail accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong spreadsheet, reconciliation and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with SAP; experience with BlackLine or similar balance‑sheet automation platforms is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of SOX/internal control frameworks and audit processes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities across multiple regions.
- Assertive, self‑initiated and collaborative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2–3 years of hands‑on accounting or finance experience within a multinational environment, preferably supporting retail operations, month‑end close and audit activities.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
