Tapestry seeks Accounting Analyst in Shanghai to support US GAAP monthly close using SAP S4 systems. 3–5 years multinational finance experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Tapestry US GAAP monthly closing processes in S4 SAP systems
- Generate closing-related deliverables and reports
- Execute inter-company accounting, reconciliation, and foreign exchange accounting tasks
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations
- Process journal entries for SG&A accruals and month-end closing activities
- Manage cash-collection accounting from direct-to-consumer, shopping mall, and e-commerce channels
- Conduct accounts receivable aging analysis
- Execute fixed asset accounting and lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842
- Support store inventory reconciliation and stock-take activities
- Maintain compliance with internal Tapestry SOX controls and requirements
- Provide local statutory audit support under respective local GAAP standards
- Complete indirect and direct tax return filings and payments
- Support inventory, gross margin, and payroll accounting closing tasks
- Participate in ad-hoc projects including SAP enhancements, artificial intelligence and robotic automation, and tax compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
- At least 3–5 years of working experience in an Accounting or Finance Department at a multinational company or professional accounting firm
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Business-level verbal and written English skills
- S4 SAP knowledge in General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Receivable modules (preferred)
- Experience with Blackline software (preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems from Oracle or IBM (preferred)

At least 3–5 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance department at a multinational corporation or professional accounting firm, with demonstrated proficiency in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
Education
Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting and finance (or equivalent field of study).
