Coach is hiring an Account Manager, Wholesale to manage leather goods distribution across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia. London-based role with hybrid flexibility.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage key and independent wholesale accounts across Northern Europe, conducting weekly or bi-weekly trade calls tailored to each account's commercial requirements
  • Manage four market cycles annually for Women's and Men's Leather Goods, designing and presenting assortment strategies informed by performance data and seasonal regional strategy
  • Review door allocation strategy and collect, process, and manage orders throughout the order lifecycle
  • Track and present sales performance on a weekly and quarterly basis, identifying key trends and challenges; create action plans to achieve sell-through targets
  • Produce seasonal trade reports highlighting wins, challenges, and growth opportunities
  • Develop short, mid-term, and long-term commercial plans to meet targets; conduct commercial negotiations with key accounts
  • Support the Sales Manager with regional strategies and long-range planning
  • Develop the distribution network across key and independent accounts, identifying and onboarding new opportunities in line with regional strategy
  • Partner with Wholesale Customer Service, Operations, Demand Planning, Finance, Store Construction, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless order execution
  • Liaise with Accounts Receivable regarding customer payments and work with Finance on provisions, returns, staffing, and terms
  • Conduct regular market visits and competitive analysis, producing feedback reports that identify growth opportunities
  • Manage end-to-end processes for new store openings, coordinating with cross-functional partners and supporting CAPEX and P&L planning
  • Maintain and update client databases as required
  • Coordinate with the Field team on floor training, in-store recruitment, and money mapping strategies

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience managing a retail wholesale business portfolio, including brick-and-mortar point-of-sale
  • Strong sales-driven mindset with highly analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel across the UK and Europe as required
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship
