TAG Heuer seeks a Master Watchmaker (1st Category) in Madrid to repair luxury watches and chronographs with expertise in TAG Heuer and Zenith movements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Repair quartz and mechanical watches and chronographs at all levels of complexity, including manual and automatic winding mechanisms
- Execute repairs of TAG Heuer manufacturing movements (H-01, H-02, TH 20, TH-30 and variations) and all Zenith calibers including El Primero chronograph and Elite caliber variants within workshop authorization
- Prepare comprehensive repair estimates for all watch and chronograph models
- Identify and specify all required spare parts for repairs, coordinating with the spare parts department
- Maintain superior quality standards for completed work in both aesthetic presentation and mechanical function
- Provide problem-solving assistance to the Workshop Manager
- Execute all secondary watchmaker tasks including complex ETA movement repairs (2824, 2892, 2894, 7750-283 and variants), mechanical adjustment, and troubleshooting
- Perform tertiary watchmaker duties including battery exchanges, water resistance quartz repairs, partial component replacement (crystal, crown, hands, stem), simple quartz and chronograph servicing, bracelet repair, and movement exchanges
- Provide customer care at the reception desk
- Maintain and monitor movement cleaning machines and cleaning products to ensure optimal quality
Qualifications
- Comprehensive mastery of quartz and mechanical watches and chronographs across all complexity levels
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a 1st Category Watchmaker
- Advanced technical knowledge of TAG Heuer and Zenith manufacturing movements and repair protocols
- Demonstrated expertise with ETA caliber families (2824, 2892, 2894, 7750-283 and variants)
- Strong attention to detail with zero-defect orientation
- Proven ability to work methodically under pressure while maintaining quality standards
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a 1st Category Watchmaker, with proven expertise in complex watch and chronograph repair across both quartz and mechanical platforms. Ideally, the candidate possesses hands-on familiarity with TAG Heuer and Zenith manufacturing calibers within an authorized service center environment.
Education
Formal watchmaking qualification or equivalent apprenticeship-based certification required. Specialized training in horological mechanics and caliber-specific repair protocols is essential.
