Role & Responsibilities
- Execute watch repair processes to the highest standard to support departmental targets, including de‑casing, case and bracelet preparation for polishing, and re‑assembly.
- Perform ultrasonic cleaning of cases and bracelets, re‑sealing and water resistance testing to agreed technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and identify worn or defective components; carry out quality control checks on own work to ensure conformity with brand standards.
- Achieve individual workload and turnaround targets within strict deadlines while maintaining high efficiency and workstation organisation.
- Operate and maintain workshop machinery and equipment in accordance with safety procedures; keep workshop tidy and compliant with health & safety protocols.
- Provide outstanding after‑sales customer service and act as a brand ambassador, developing and maintaining current product and brand knowledge.
- Support team colleagues and management with part jobs, guarantee work and ad hoc business requirements; proactively develop technical skills through training.
Qualifications
- Vocational qualification in horology, mechanical/electronic engineering or equivalent technical training preferred.
- Demonstrable manual dexterity and close attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and achieve targets in a busy workshop environment.
- Professionalism, reliability and a collaborative, team‑orientated approach.

Experience
Some prior experience working within a busy team environment is required; previous exposure to watch repair, precision assembly or another role requiring fine manual dexterity is desirable. Proven ability to meet targets and contribute to departmental objectives is advantageous.
Education
Vocational or technical qualification in horology, watchmaking, mechanical or electronic repair preferred; relevant apprenticeships or recognised short courses acceptable.
