TAG Heuer Quality Pilot, Development and Suppliers in Cornol, Switzerland. Full-time role managing quality across product development and supplier partnerships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the unique quality liaison for the Development department, representing quality requirements throughout project lifecycles from initiation to closure, both internally and externally
- Integrate quality requirements (FMEA Product/Process, Surveillance Plans, Specifications) into development projects from their inception
- Define and supervise quality project milestones in collaboration with project teams, ensuring proper implementation and adherence
- Oversee the secure and seamless transfer of new products to series production—both internal and external—whilst maintaining control of quality risks
- Manage non-conformities (ANC) related to development projects: analyse failures, supervise remediation, implement corrective action plans, and validate effectiveness of corrective measures
- Identify, propose, and implement continuous improvement actions for development processes
- Facilitate quality briefings for the development department
- Serve as the single quality contact for suppliers and external partners
- Monitor and analyse supplier quality KPIs and communicate performance metrics monthly
- Participate in supplier selection, evaluation, and dual-sourcing studies with the Procurement team
- Manage supplier non-conformities: analyse defects, oversee containment, establish corrective action plans, and validate remedial effectiveness
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance
Qualifications
- Technical training in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, or metrology
- Minimum 3 years of significant experience in project quality management and/or supplier quality
- Familiarity with new product design processes including industrialisation and methods
- Advanced proficiency with quality tools and methodologies: FMEA, 8D, PPAP, SPC, MSP, Lean Six Sigma
- Solid knowledge of machining and mechanical engineering principles
- Excellent technical drawing interpretation and tight tolerance comprehension
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP systems
- Fluent English (required)
- Structured approach with strong attention to detail and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to maintain strategic perspective during project phases
- Exceptional communication and pedagogical skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of significant experience in project quality management and/or supplier quality oversight, with demonstrated familiarity in new product industrialisation and manufacturing processes.
Education
Technical qualification in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, or metrology.
