TAG Heuer, La Chaux-de-Fonds: IT Business Application Lead – Manufacturing role for junior talent with industrial IT passion, SAP/MES experience preferred.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and continuous optimization of IT applications within the manufacturing domain, including production planning, quality control, plant maintenance, and inventory management
- Identify recurring issues and propose sustainable solutions to improve system reliability and user experience
- Collaborate closely with production teams to understand operational requirements and identify pain points
- Document and communicate process improvement opportunities through intelligent use of IT solutions
- Actively assist experienced team members in designing, implementing, and deploying new system features or modules, with particular emphasis on SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing with MES integration
- Contribute to all project phases, including testing, training, and post-deployment support
- Write and maintain clear, up-to-date technical and functional documentation for all supported applications
- Remain informed of latest trends, innovations, and best practices in industrial IT, MES systems, and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Support end users through training sessions, workshops, and hands-on accompaniment to ensure seamless adoption of IT solutions
- Work in close collaboration with the IT Business Application Lead and cross-functional manufacturing departments to foster a positive team culture and knowledge-sharing environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or equivalent technical field
- First experience in an industrial environment or with production-related information systems
- Strong motivation to learn and evolve in manufacturing IT applications
- Basic knowledge of information systems (ERP, MES) and/or industrial automation
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts (IoT, MES, digital twins, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative team spirit
- SAP experience is advantageous

Minimum 3 years of professional experience, with first experience in an industrial environment or with production-related information systems highly advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or equivalent technical field.
