Role & Responsibilities

  • Optimize use of manufacturing processes and material/production flows in line with the industrial strategy and performance targets.
  • Analyze production variances (performance gaps, bottlenecks, losses, non-value‑adding activities) and prioritise improvement projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects (Lean): define scope, run workshops, coordinate actions, measure gains and ensure sustainment of results.
  • Act as primary contact for machine investments: gather requirements, perform opportunity analyses, coordinate stakeholders and follow through implementation.
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance and IS&T teams to align solutions and oversee shop‑floor deployment.
  • Apply cost/benefit/risk analysis to recommendations, ensuring robustness of implemented solutions.
  • Drive change management: deliver training, provide on‑the‑job coaching and upskill cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in industrialization, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent (technician or engineer level).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in industrialization, manufacturing or process improvement within a production environment.
  • Strong command of Lean Management tools and methodologies, including facilitation of improvement workshops and standardisation.
  • Proven project management and structured problem‑solving skills (root cause analysis, action planning, benefits tracking).
  • Practical knowledge of watchmaking manufacturing processes (machining, polishing, assembly) and their industrial constraints.
  • Ability to operate effectively on the shop floor, with a results orientation and capacity to lead organisational change.
