Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager and Regional HR Director to define and execute the people strategy for Korea, translating business priorities into actionable HR plans that enable retail growth and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and development programs to build strong internal leadership pipelines, with emphasis on retail frontline and mid-management talent
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives that promote collaboration, inclusivity, and brand values; drive communications and feedback mechanisms that ensure employee voice and well-being
  • Manage complex employee relations issues and internal investigations with professionalism and risk awareness; ensure compliance with Korean labor law and internal policies
  • Oversee HR operations including recruitment, compensation, benefits, and learning and development in partnership with Centers of Expertise; lead and develop the local HR team for strong execution and stakeholder management
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and support change initiatives, including business transformation, new store openings, and workforce scaling
  • Strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels and coach leaders to foster a high-performance culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in retail or consumer-facing sectors
  • Background in luxury retail—particularly within fashion, watches and jewelry, or cosmetics
  • Strong track record in HR business partnering, organizational change management, and talent development
  • Demonstrated experience supporting retail network expansion or business transformation
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and maturity in handling confidential matters and sensitive HR situations
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with employee relations and Korean labor law
  • Skilled in working across functions and in matrix/global environments
