Role & Responsibilities
- Translate the maison's ambitions into clear, value-creating operational strategy that delivers sustainable competitive advantage, integrating industrial challenges into strategic decision-making from project inception
- Ensure alignment between commercial ambitions, industrial capabilities, investments, and operational priorities; pilot decisions on industrial model, operational footprint, and make-or-buy arbitrage
- Guarantee overall operational performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, service, and inventory; pilot budgets, investments, and cost trajectories with rigorous value-creation demands
- Increase productivity and capacity utilization by challenging processes, contracts, and operational workflows; optimize inventory and work-in-progress to liberate cash while preserving product availability and service levels
- Simplify structures, processes, and governance to reduce complexity and accelerate decision-making; reduce lead times and strengthen the maison's agility in responding to demand shifts
- Secure successful product launches through close coordination across development, industrialization, production, quality, and supply chain functions
- Define and execute an ambitious transformation and modernization roadmap for the industrial facility; identify and deploy technologies and methods to enhance performance, quality, traceability, and agility
- Strengthen autonomy and resilience of the value chain by securing strategic capabilities, components, and supply; pilot performance of key suppliers and partners; manage principal industrial and operational risks
- Guarantee transmission of expertise and development of competencies required for future ambitions; reinforce a culture of continuous improvement and innovation at operational level
- Embody a culture of industrial excellence combining quality rigor, technical mastery, innovation, and client focus; position TAG Heuer's manufactures and expertise as sources of legitimacy, trust, and differentiation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and health, safety, quality, and environmental standards; integrate sustainability considerations into industrial choices, investments, and operational decisions
- Provide clear vision, set demanding priorities, and mobilize teams around a shared operational ambition; develop leadership and autonomy of direct managers; strengthen cross-functional synergies and collaboration
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in engineering, ideally complemented by formal training in management, industrial operations, or finance
- Demonstrated experience in a broad-scope Chief Operations role covering multiple sites and functions within a demanding, transforming industrial environment
- Mastery of production, industrialization, supply chain, procurement, quality, after-sales service, and financial performance management
- Proven track record in modernizing industrial infrastructure, simplifying complex organizations, and leading large-scale transformations
- Recognized leadership capability and ability to federate executive teams and evolve organizations with rigor and discernment
- Strong capacity for decision-making, arbitrage, and prioritization paired with a results-driven execution culture
- Ability to combine strategic vision, business acumen, and ground-level proximity
- Deep sensitivity to the craftsmanship, innovation, quality, and desirability inherent to a luxury watch maison
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in chief operations or equivalent leadership roles within capital-intensive, multi-site industrial organizations, including demonstrable success in transformational initiatives and strategic operational restructuring.
Education
Advanced degree in engineering, ideally complemented by formal training in management, industrial operations, or finance.

The successful candidate will be located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
