Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee full accounting operations for TAG Heuer, Branch of LVMH Swiss Manufactures SA, including general ledger and sub-ledgers.
  • Lead the monthly close process and ensure accurate consolidation of financial data into the group reporting tool in compliance with IFRS.
  • Supervise accounts payable processes within a centralized invoice control framework.
  • Prepare and supervise statutory accounts for LVMH SWISS Manufactures SA (Swiss CO), including five branches; oversee statutory accounts for TAG Heuer International and the French branch.
  • Determine corporate taxes and manage tax declarations at federal, cantonal and communal levels; administer tax credits, royalties and related cross-border items.
  • Manage intercompany accounting issues with foreign subsidiaries and ensure correct intercompany reconciliations.
  • Maintain financial master data and ensure integrity of accounting records.
  • Line-manage a team of six accounting professionals, setting priorities, monitoring performance and developing capabilities.
  • Act as SAP key user for accounting processes and liaise with IT and group finance on systems and process improvements.
  • Report to the HQ Finance Director and represent local accounting matters within the group finance framework.

Qualifications

  • Higher degree in accounting, finance or equivalent (HEG or equivalent).
  • Minimum five years' experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within an international company.
  • Deep knowledge of international and national accounting frameworks, specifically IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations (CO).
  • Proven experience preparing statutory accounts and handling Swiss statutory and tax requirements.
  • Experience managing and developing a small accounting team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills, with strong analytical and anticipatory capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with SAP and common office IT tools.

Experience

At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum period as an accounting manager or head of accounting; demonstrable track record in statutory reporting (Swiss CO and IFRS), tax declarations and leading a small team in an international corporate environment. Prior exposure as an SAP key user is required.

Education

Higher education in accounting or finance (HEG or equivalent) or comparable professional qualification.
