TAG Heuer in Paris seeks an Accounting Apprentice (alternance) — 1-year apprenticeship in accounts payable, receivable and general accounting, start 01/09/2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable workflow (approx. 70%): create and receive purchase orders in SAP, enter supplier invoices, open supplier accounts according to policy, follow up on supplier queries, prepare and analyse aged supplier balances and perform supplier account reconciliations and matching.
  • Support accounts receivable and boutique cash processes (approx. 20%): verify point-of-sale cash integrations, reconcile boutique accounts (invoices vs. receipts), post banked customer receipts, perform customer and cash account reconciliations and execute customer dunning by phone, email and letter.
  • Contribute to general accounting tasks (approx. 10%): post and integrate bank movements, prepare bank reconciliations, assist with monthly/quarterly/year-end closings, prepare monthly DEB/DES filings and support internal control verifications.
  • Work collaboratively with the accounting team and finance director on ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement of purchase and accounting procedures.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an apprenticeship or work-study programme in accounting/finance (DCG, BTS CGO or university degree with a finance specialisation).
  • Rigorous and methodical with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Motivated to learn and develop within a structured, fast-paced luxury retail finance environment.
  • Availability to start on 1 September 2026 for a one-year apprenticeship; based on-site in Paris 8th arrondissement.

Experience

Open to beginners; previous internship or first practical exposure to accounting processes is an advantage but not required. The role is tailored to students undertaking an apprenticeship with little or no prior full-time experience.

Education

Enrolment in an apprenticeship-level accounting/finance programme (DCG, BTS CGO) or a university degree with a finance specialisation.
