TAG Heuer seeks an Accountant in Oberursel, Germany for an 18-month maternity cover role managing accounts receivable and financial operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process and monitor incoming customer payments via bank statements in the SAP system
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper account maintenance
- Administer collection procedures and monitor outstanding receivables
- Prepare and execute SEPA direct debit collections for authorized customers
- Monitor and manage customer credit limits and conduct creditworthiness assessments
- Analyze and track customer liquidity to minimize default risk
- Review, code, and post cash settlement reports
- Review, code, and post credit card settlement reports
- Serve as primary accounting contact for boutique locations
- Provide temporary support to accounts payable during employee leave periods
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare and submit monthly Intrastat declarations
- Prepare and submit EU Sales Lists (Zusammenfassende Meldungen) for intra-Community supplies and services
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SAP is essential
- Strong numerical aptitude and routine competence with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent German and good English proficiency in written and oral form; French language skills are advantageous
- Demonstrated absolute reliability, high level of commitment, and structured, efficient, self-directed work approach
- Ideally, prior professional experience in finance or accounting, with a strong interest in accounting processes and relationships

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, with proven expertise in accounts receivable management and cash application processes.
Education
Completion of vocational training or formal education in accounting, finance, or a related commercial field is expected.

The successful candidate will be located in Oberursel, Hesse, Germany, with easy access to Frankfurt am Main.
