TAG Heuer Accountant (GL) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Support month-end closing, financial reporting and accounting operations for Watches & Jewelry division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare journal vouchers with supporting documentation for month-end closing, including accruals, reversals, GL reclassifications, provisions, and adjustments
- Execute intercompany reconciliations and manage fixed asset and inventory accounting
- Assist with Syrus reporting, cost of sales (COS) monthly closing packages, and budget (BUD) preparation
- Update account schedules including marketing expenses, accruals, deposits, prepayments, and other receivables
- Prepare and submit GST reports and coordinate survey forms to government statistics departments as required
- Issue debit notes (DN) and credit notes (CN) for cash discounts, sales incentives, quarter-end incentives, and intercompany/inter-brand recharges
- Review open marketing purchase orders, perform accruals, and identify duplicate PO issuances
- Support periodic stock cycle counts for boutiques and service centers (SAV) across Malaysia and Singapore
- Prepare budget documentation and assist with boutique and SAV inventory verification
- Provide supporting documentation to external auditors and income tax agents
- Draft financial statements and manage YTD marketing expenditure reconciliation post-closing
Qualifications
- Diploma or University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CIMA or ACCA qualification (completed or in progress, advantageous)
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Malay
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of SAP systems (advantageous)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment preferred.
Education
Diploma or University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CIMA or ACCA qualification (completed or in progress) is advantageous.
