Swiss Timing seeks a Multisport System Implementation Manager to lead technology implementation, infrastructure readiness, systems integration, and cybersecurity coordination across project phases and live event operations. The role is contractually based in Leipzig, with relocation to the Olympic host city approximately two years before the Games and availability for long-term on-site assignments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead technology coordination and cybersecurity activities across multisport project phases, from preparation through live event operations.
- Align technology infrastructure, systems integration, and cyber governance with operational requirements; serve as a key interface for internal teams, project leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Lead technology implementation, infrastructure readiness, and cybersecurity coordination for multisport projects.
- Act as the primary technology counterpart to the On Venue Results (OVR) Project Manager throughout project delivery.
- Ensure integration readiness between Timing & Scoring systems, OVR platforms, and venue technology infrastructure.
- Coordinate multi-venue connectivity requirements and oversee critical technical dependencies across competition sites.
- Contribute to project technology and cybersecurity governance meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Deloitte.
- Collaborate with corporate IT teams to align with architecture, governance, and security standards.
- Liaise between project teams, Information Security, software leadership, and operational delivery teams on technology and cybersecurity matters.
- Be available for long-term on-site assignments and relocate to the Olympic host city approximately two years before the Games to support planning and preparation.
Qualifications
- Certificate in Technology/Computer Science or equivalent.
- Qualification in project management.
- Higher education in Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in complex IT infrastructure, systems integration, or critical operations delivery.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity coordination is an asset.
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders in international environments.
- Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making skills.
- Structured, systematic, organized, and results-oriented approach.
- Service- and solution-oriented, collaborative, open-minded, effective, efficient, optimistic, motivated, and visionary, with a proactive attitude toward internal and external clients.
