Logistics Coordinator (50% part-time) at Swiss Timing, Corgémont. Warehouse operations, inventory management, event logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare material lists and documentation for sporting events and service operations
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations applicable to event logistics
- Process production orders, sales orders, and procurement requests
- Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles with accuracy and care
- Count, sort, and store merchandise in designated inventory locations
- Maintain inventory levels in coordination with various internal departments
- Perform packaging, strapping, wrapping, film-sealing, and labeling of goods
- Monitor and replenish packaging materials at workstations throughout the warehouse
- Distribute merchandise to relevant company departments as requested
- Manage and coordinate loading dock workflow and vehicle scheduling
- Refurbish and maintain transport crates and containers for service operations
- Inspect and flag damaged or defective merchandise for appropriate handling
- Conduct quantitative inspection of returned goods and receipt of incoming materials
Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in logistics or warehouse operations
- Minimum one year of professional experience in logistics or warehouse environments
- Proficiency in operating non-motorized material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks)
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it
- Excellent command of French language
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of professional experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a closely related supply chain function. Familiarity with event logistics, aviation safety compliance, or precision manufacturing environments is advantageous.
Education
Formal qualification or certification in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations is required.
