The HR Operations Specialist supports compliant HR operations across Switzerland, Germany, and the Czech Republic, covering payroll coordination, social insurance, contracts, budgeting, controlling, reporting, workforce planning, and HR analytics. The role may be part-time or full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate payroll activities and HR administration in collaboration with the payroll specialist at Swatch Group Germany.
- Maintain personnel records and HR systems, including assignment notifications.
- Oversee social insurance and contract management processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and HR controlling activities.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting for local management and corporate stakeholders.
- Support workforce planning and HR analytics.
- Maintain and continuously improve HR processes, policies, and data quality.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal regulations.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive employee experience across multiple locations.
- Coordinate relocation support and employee recognition activities, such as housing, gifts, and flowers.
Qualifications
- University degree, apprenticeship qualification, or equivalent in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, HR Administration, or a comparable role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an affinity for HR controlling, reporting, and data analysis.
- Proven experience preparing and maintaining HR reports, dashboards, KPI analyses, and management reports.
- Experience with HR reporting and workforce analytics at local and corporate or group level.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with payroll systems, ideally Sage Payroll Module.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR information systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a highly accurate, quality-focused approach to work.
- Solid understanding of payroll, HR administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
- French language skills are a strong asset.
