Role & Responsibilities
- Install, configure and commission Swiss Timing electronic timing and measurement systems at workshops, venues and live events.
- Perform diagnostics, component‑level repair and replacement of PCBs, sensors and electronic modules; execute soldering and mechanical servicing as required.
- Carry out calibration, functional testing and firmware updates to ensure instruments meet specification and quality standards.
- Provide on‑site technical support during events: rapid troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and real‑time system optimisation.

- Demonstrable competence in soldering, PCB fault diagnosis and the use of electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter).
- Comfortable working at events with flexible hours; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, meticulous documentation habits and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams.

Several years of hands‑on experience in electronics assembly, repair or field service; prior exposure to instrumentation, sports timing or broadcast equipment is advantageous.
Education
