Swiss Timing seeks an Electronics Engineer to develop timing technologies and wearable sensors for international sports events, contributing across the product lifecycle from concept and design to validation, industrialization, and operational support. The role includes approximately 10% international travel; no contract terms are stated.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic timing devices and wearable sensor solutions.
- Support the industrialization and production transfer of new products and systems.
- Provide technical support during product validation activities and sports competitions.
- Collaborate with testing and operational teams to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives in sports timekeeping technologies.
- Ensure compliance with development methodologies, internal guidelines, and quality standards.
- Support prototype manufacturing, testing, and continuous product improvement.
- Monitor emerging technologies and contribute to technology scouting and end-of-life (EOL) management.
- Travel internationally as required, approximately 10% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in electronic product development.
- Strong experience with Altium Designer for electronic design and PCB development.
- Solid knowledge of analog electronics.
- Good understanding of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) principles and standards.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, validation, and product industrialization.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in multidisciplinary development environments is an asset.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Fluent French, both written and spoken.
- German is an advantage.
