Role & Responsibilities

  • Undertake vocational training tasks to become an IT systems electronics technician: assemble, install and commission electronic and IT systems.
  • Install and terminate network cabling and peripheral hardware for timing and broadcast systems at the company’s premises and event sites.
  • Configure and test networked equipment, servers and client devices; perform diagnostics and corrective repairs under supervision.
  • Support setup, integration and on-site operation of timekeeping, TV-graphics and data distribution systems during national and international sporting events.
  • Maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams and test reports; ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
  • Participate in vocational school (Berufsschule) and internal training modules; apply classroom learning to practical assignments.
  • Work collaboratively in multi‑disciplinary teams, including close coordination with broadcast and event operations staff.

Qualifications

  • Completed compulsory schooling; qualification for vocational training (e.g., Realschulabschluss or equivalent) preferred.
