Swatch seeks a Store Manager in Bondi Junction, Sydney to lead store operations and drive sales for the Swatch boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations to deliver an exemplary Swatch brand experience across sales, visual merchandising, inventory and customer service.
- Drive and exceed sales targets through coaching, performance management and goal-setting with the store team.
- Recruit, train and develop sales staff; implement onboarding and in-store training programmes to ensure product knowledge and service excellence.
- Oversee stock management, replenishment, stocktakes and shrinkage-control procedures to protect margin and availability.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and product presentation for new launches, limited editions and promotional events.
- Manage rosters, labour costs and operational budgets while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Cultivate high-value client relationships and support CRM initiatives, clienteling and after-sales service.
- Coordinate in-store events, product launches and omnichannel fulfilment with regional marketing and retail teams.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a retail management role, ideally within watches, jewellery or premium-fashion retail.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets through team development and commercial focus.
- Sound knowledge of visual merchandising principles and inventory control best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, motivate and manage a diverse retail team.
- Right to work in Australia and familiarity with local retail employment and compliance requirements.
Experience
Typically requires 3+ years of progressive retail management experience; prior experience in watchmaking, jewellery, luxury or high-turnover specialty retail strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary school completion required; tertiary qualification in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred but not mandatory.
