Swatch seeks a Store Manager for its Chadstone boutique in Melbourne — lead store operations, sales and team to deliver exceptional retail experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store operations at the Chadstone boutique, ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards and operational procedures.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve monthly KPIs through proactive coaching, merchandising, promotions and local activation.
  • Recruit, train and develop a high-performing retail team, delivering regular feedback, performance reviews and on-the-floor coaching.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, visual merchandising and loss-prevention controls to optimise availability and presentation.
  • Manage cash handling, POS transactions, banking and routine administrative tasks with accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyse sales data and local market trends to forecast demand, set priorities and recommend adjustments to merchandising or staffing.
  • Ensure an exceptional client experience by embedding a clienteling culture, resolving escalated customer enquiries and cultivating long-term relationships.
  • Represent the store in local events and collaborate with regional marketing to execute in-store activations and product launches.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail leadership with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrable ability to recruit, develop and retain retail talent and to foster a customer-centric team culture.
  • Strong organisational competence in inventory control, cash procedures and store administration.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with polished client-facing demeanour consistent with a luxury brand.
  • Right to work in Australia and willingness to work a retail roster including weekends and seasonal peaks.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, retail management or hospitality preferred but not mandatory.
