Role & Responsibilities
- Own overall store performance: drive sales, conversion and average transaction value to achieve and exceed KPIs and budgets.
- Lead, coach and develop the store team through performance management, recruitment, rotas and career development plans.
- Manage daily store operations including cash handling, visual merchandising, stock management, loss prevention and compliance with company standards.
- Implement brand campaigns, product launches and local marketing initiatives to maximise footfall and customer engagement.
- Control inventory: oversee replenishment, stock-taking, transfers and supply-chain communication with regional teams.
- Deliver exemplary customer experience and clienteling, resolving escalations and cultivating long‑term customer relationships.
- Prepare regular reports and liaise with district/regional management on P&L, forecasting and operational matters.
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience with responsibility for team leadership and P&L in a high-volume store environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and track record of meeting sales targets through coaching and operational excellence.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills; aptitude for developing talent and building high-performing teams.
- Fluent German at business/native level and strong spoken English (inferred as essential for Bern retail market).
- High standard of presentation and a passion for watches, design and lifestyle-driven retail.
Skills
Experience
Several years of progressive retail experience with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or store manager role, preferably within watch, jewellery or premium lifestyle retail.
Education
Commercial apprenticeship or degree in business, retail management or equivalent vocational qualification preferred.

This position is based in Bern, Bern, Switzerland.
