The Sales Supervisor assists the Store Manager with daily operations and sales initiatives, coaches Sales Associates toward performance goals, and oversees customer service, inventory accuracy, visual merchandising and compliance. This is a full-time position requiring an average minimum of 35 hours per week, with a starting base pay of CAD 20.20 per hour plus a monthly performance bonus; employees must maintain open availability and may work more than 35 hours, certain holidays and blackout dates.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, with a focus on sales initiatives.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and coach the team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ensure the team has comprehensive product knowledge to enhance the customer experience and support customer decision-making.
- Support daily operational tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Follow inventory control processes, minimize loss, and ensure accurate stock handling and reporting.
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company directives, keeping the store presentation at a consistently high standard that reflects Swatch’s image.
- Uphold workplace safety standards and model company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with operational guidelines and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Available to work opening and closing shifts, with flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Available for full-time work, a minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and understandably.
- Results-oriented, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Passionate about sales and working in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in fashion and/or accessories.
- Intermediate computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience working with POS systems.
