Swatch is hiring a Sales Lead at Conestoga Mall, Waterloo, ON to lead store operations and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day store operations at the Conestoga Mall boutique, ensuring smooth opening/closing procedures and adherence to company standards.
- Supervise, coach and develop the retail sales team to maximise individual and collective performance against sales targets and KPIs.
- Deliver exemplary client service and elevated brand experiences through active selling, clienteling and personalised product knowledge.
- Drive visual merchandising standards and in-store presentation to reflect seasonal directives and brand campaigns.
- Manage inventory processes including receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts and shrinkage prevention.
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions and end-of-day reconciliations in compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare staff schedules, manage labour allocation and ensure coverage for peak trading periods, weekends and holidays.
- Liaise with regional management on promotions, reporting and local marketing initiatives; escalate operational issues as required.
Qualifications
- Proven retail supervisory experience, preferably within watches, jewelry, accessories or luxury/fashion retail.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and coaching teams to achieve results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and reliable local commute to Conestoga Mall, Waterloo.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity; experience in watches, jewelry or luxury/fashion retail strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail management or brand-specific training considered an asset.
