Swatch is hiring a Sales Associate (contract) in Montpellier, France — temporary retail role (01.07–30.09.2026) for watch sales and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, brand-aligned customer service; proactively engage walk-in clients and convert enquiries into sales.
- Advise customers on watches and accessories, demonstrating thorough product knowledge and positioning technical features and styling benefits.
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets; drive conversion and increase average transaction value through upselling and cross-selling.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process transactions, and manage cash handling and receipts in line with store procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising, ensure impeccable product presentation and store housekeeping to brand standards.
- Receive, organise and replenish stock; support inventory counts and stockroom management.
- Support basic after-sales activities (warranty registration, simple adjustments) and clienteling follow-ups; participate in store briefings and training.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales ability with a client-focused, commercial approach; experience in watch, jewellery or luxury accessory sales is an advantage.
- Polished interpersonal skills and a professional, client-facing manner suitable for a premium retail environment.
- Strong numeric accuracy and experience handling cash and POS transactions.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends; able to work promotional and peak retail periods.
- Right to work in France.

Typically 1+ year of retail sales experience; prior exposure to watches, jewellery or luxury retail preferred.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; vocational training in retail or luxury sales is advantageous.
