Swatch is hiring a Sales Associate (fixed-term contract) in Lyon — 35h/week CDD from 29 June to 12 Sept 2026. Join a design-led watch brand in retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service: greet customers, identify needs, advise on product selection and build long-term relationships.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through active clienteling, upselling and cross-selling of watches and accessories.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately: process transactions, returns and exchanges; handle cash and card payments following security procedures.
- Maintain boutique presentation and visual merchandising standards; replenish stock and ensure product displays reflect brand guidelines.
- Participate in store opening/closing routines, inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Attend mandatory training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques and company policies; contribute to a collaborative retail team environment.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales aptitude; prior experience in a customer-facing role strongly preferred, ideally within watches, accessories, fashion or luxury segments.
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients.
- Numerical accuracy and familiarity with POS procedures, cash handling and basic administrative tasks.
- Availability for the full contract period and flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and peak periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, luxury goods or hospitality is a plus.

Experience
Previous retail or luxury sales experience is preferred; candidates with at least one season or one year of client-facing sales experience will be advantaged. Experience operating POS systems and handling cash is expected.
