Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, client-focused service on the sales floor, proactively engaging customers and tailoring recommendations to their needs.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, upselling and cross-selling of watches and accessories.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately; process transactions, returns and exchanges while ensuring correct cash and card handling.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and boutique presentation in line with Swatch brand guidelines.
- Manage stock: receive deliveries, perform inventory counts, replenish floor stock and assist with loss-prevention procedures.
- Build and maintain client records and follow up to nurture repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Support boutique operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, reporting daily sales and collaborating with store leadership on local initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven competence in customer-facing retail roles; demonstration of strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented demeanour.
- Numerical literacy and experience handling cash and POS transactions with precision.
- Ability to learn and communicate product knowledge about watches, straps and related accessories.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holiday trading periods.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and capacity to work on-site at West Edmonton Mall.
- Professional grooming and presentation consistent with a premium retail environment.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail sales experience is required; experience in watches, fashion or accessories is strongly preferred. A minimum of one year in a customer-facing retail role is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, hospitality or sales is an asset.
