Swatch is hiring a Sales Associate at Chadstone, Melbourne — deliver standout client service and drive sales for the Swatch boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, brand-aligned customer service to a diverse clientele in a high-traffic Chadstone retail environment.
- Actively drive sales through product presentation, client needs analysis and personalised recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across core Swatch collections and limited-edition collaborations, communicating key features and storytelling to customers.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, manage accurate cash and card transactions, and process returns/exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Support visual merchandising standards: stock replenishment, window and floor displays, and maintaining presentation to brand guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts, receiving shipments and ensuring accurate stock records.
- Assist with in-store promotions, launch events and queue management for high-demand product releases.
- Uphold loss-prevention procedures, store safety and compliance with local retail regulations.
Qualifications
- Right to work in Australia.
- Proven interpersonal skills with a polished, client-facing demeanour.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
- Ability to learn and communicate product knowledge clearly and enthusiastically.
- Attention to detail in cash handling, stock control and visual presentation.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail sales experience preferred; experience in fashion, accessories or watches is advantageous. Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and delivering high-quality client service will be viewed favourably.
Education
Secondary education (high school) or equivalent.
