Sales Associate at Swatch Store Amsterdam Kalverstraat – Full-time retail role with Swatch Group, the world's leading watchmaker. Dutch & English required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with enthusiasm and genuine warmth, fostering positive first impressions
- Listen attentively to customer needs and preferences to recommend appropriate watch models and accessories
- Demonstrate thorough product knowledge across Swatch's collections and the broader Swatch Group portfolio
- Identify and seize commercial opportunities to maximize transaction value and customer satisfaction
- Provide expert guidance on servicing, repairs, and warranty matters
- Manage point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain store appearance, merchandise displays, and inventory standards
- Work flexibly across shifts to support store operations and peak trading periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages preferred
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to recognize and convert sales opportunities
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum MBO (Secondary Vocational) level education or equivalent
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required

Experience
Sales or retail experience is required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of engaging customers, building rapport, and delivering results in a commercial environment.
Education
Minimum MBO (Dutch Secondary Vocational Education) level or equivalent qualification.
