Swatch is hiring a Sales Associate (CDD) in Aix‑en‑Provence for 01/06–31/08/2026. Temporary retail position in watches at Swatch boutique, Aix‑en‑Provence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service and personalised product advice to customers in a Swatch boutique environment.
  • Achieve daily and seasonal sales targets through effective clienteling, cross‑selling and upselling.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS), process transactions, manage cash handling and complete daily reconciliations.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure accurate product presentation and support store displays and window dressing.
  • Manage stock: receive deliveries, perform replenishment, assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Support after‑sales service and basic watch handling tasks (strap changes, packaging) while escalating technical issues appropriately.
  • Adhere to brand presentation, loss‑prevention and store security procedures; participate in team briefings and promotional events.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience, preferably within watches, jewellery or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrable client‑facing skills with a customer‑centric attitude and sales orientation.
  • Comfort with cash handling, POS systems and inventory procedures.
  • Availability for the fixed‑term contract from 01/06/2026 to 31/08/2026, including weekends and peak retail hours.
  • Professional presentation and ability to represent the Swatch brand standards.

Experience

Secondary education (Baccalauréat) or equivalent; vocational diploma in commerce/retail (e.g., BTS) is a plus.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Aix-en-Provence, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, with easy access to Marseille.
