Swatch — Sales Assistant (part-time, 20 hrs) in Verona. Temporary contract for boutique retail sales in Verona, Veneto.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-standard, personalised customer service to a diverse clientele and convert visits into sales while meeting individual and store targets.
- Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge of Swatch timepieces and related accessories to advise customers accurately on features, materials and care.
- Execute daily store operations including point-of-sale transactions, cash handling, opening and closing procedures and inventory replenishment.
- Maintain boutique visual merchandising and presentation standards to reflect brand guidelines and ensure product displays are attractive and sales-ready.
- Support stock management: receive, tag and store merchandise, perform inventory counts and contribute to loss-prevention measures.
- Handle post‑sale activities such as exchanges, returns and warranty queries with professionalism and adherence to company policy.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing skills with a client-focused attitude and polished interpersonal manner.
- Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week) including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by store rota.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and reliability in punctuality and follow-through.
- Fluent Italian with good verbal communication; conversational English is advantageous.
- Right to work in Italy and ability to work under a temporary contract.

Experience
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred; experience in watch, jewellery or premium goods retail is an advantage but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
Education
Secondary school diploma (high school) or equivalent.
