Swatch is hiring a Part‑Time Sales Assistant (30 hrs/week) in Venice, Italy — temporary contract; boutique retail sales role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary face-to-face customer service and build lasting client relationships in a Swatch boutique environment.
- Drive sales and meet or exceed individual and store KPIs through consultative selling and product demonstrations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the boutique reflects brand guidelines and seasonal direction.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, accurate cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation procedures.
- Support inventory control: receive, stock, rotate merchandise and assist with stocktakes.
- Keep up-to-date product knowledge of watch collections and technical features to inform and advise clients.
- Contribute to daily store operations including opening/closing, maintaining housekeeping standards and completing administrative tasks.
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays to cover the 30-hour weekly rota.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in watches, accessories or consumer luxury goods.
- Proven customer-service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work 30 hours per week (part-time), including weekends and public holidays.
- Right to work in Italy for the duration of the temporary contract.
- Professional appearance and alignment with the Swatch brand image.
- Basic numeracy for cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred.

Experience
Entry-level role; prior experience in retail sales is preferred, with candidates who have worked in watch or luxury retail considered an advantage.
Education
Secondary-school diploma (high school) or equivalent; tertiary studies in retail, sales or marketing are a plus.
