Swatch is hiring a Sales Assistant (contract) for its Hamburg Jungfernstieg flagship store. Join Swatch & Flik Flak for a 1-year full-time retail role in Hamburg.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an engaging customer journey by advising clients, demonstrating product features and closing sales to meet store targets.
- Execute visual merchandising and in-store storytelling to maintain the Swatch brand aesthetic and seasonal concepts.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately and manage cash handling and daily tills.
- Maintain stock floor readiness: replenish displays, receive and process deliveries, and perform inventory checks.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships through proactive aftersales service and CRM activities.
- Collaborate with the store team on opening/closing procedures, staff briefings and promotional events.
- Represent Swatch & Flik Flak brand values in every customer interaction and ensure high standards of store presentation and hygiene.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing experience in retail or sales; experience in watches, accessories or fashion retail is an advantage.
- Strong retail sensibility with a good eye for visual merchandising and the ability to translate brand storytelling into shop floor execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident engaging a diverse, international clientele.
- Ability to work flexibly including weekends and public holidays as required by flagship store operations.
- Reliable, team-oriented attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years of retail sales experience; prior exposure to branded retail, flagship environments or watch/jewellery sales is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; vocational training in retail/sales is a plus.
