Swatch seeks a part-time Sales Assistant (20 hrs/week, temporary) for its Genoa boutique — Swatch, Genoa, Sales Assistant.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary client service on the boutique floor: welcome customers, assess needs, advise on product selection and close sales.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of Swatch collections and communicate technical features and brand positioning to clients.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, handle cash and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliation.
- Support stock management: receive deliveries, perform stock counts, replenish displays and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Uphold visual merchandising standards and maintain a polished, brand-appropriate boutique environment.
- Develop and maintain client records through clienteling activities and support follow-up communications to drive repeat business.
- Assist with store opening/closing procedures and contribute to achieving weekly and monthly sales targets as directed by store management.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, ideally 1 year or more in luxury, fashion, watches or accessories.
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills with a client-focused attitude.
- Comfortable operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Attention to visual presentation and adherence to brand merchandising standards.
- Flexible availability to cover a 20-hour weekly schedule, including weekends and peak retail hours; available for a temporary contract.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year of retail sales experience; prior exposure to luxury, fashion or watch retail is strongly preferred. Experience in clienteling and meeting sales targets is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in sales, retail or luxury retail is a plus.
