Swatch is hiring a part-time Sales Assistant at Rome–Fiumicino Airport (Fiumicino, Italy) on a temporary contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, personalised customer service to a diverse, international clientele in a high-traffic airport retail environment.
- Achieve and contribute to store sales targets through proactive selling, product demonstrations and upselling of relevant accessories and services.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process transactions accurately, manage cash handling and daily reconciliations.
- Maintain boutique presentation to brand visual merchandising standards, including replenishment, window displays and stock rotation.
- Support inventory management activities: receiving deliveries, organising stockroom, and participating in stock counts.
- Provide basic after-sales support including warranty handling, simple adjustments and referral to after-sales service channels.
- Adhere to airport security, duty-free regulations and company loss-prevention procedures at all times.
- Work flexible schedules including weekends, public holidays and peak travel periods; collaborate closely with the boutique team and store manager.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing experience in retail; previous experience in watches, accessories or airport/duty-free retail is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, service-oriented demeanour.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays, and to adapt to variable shift patterns.
- Legal right to work in Italy and ability to pass airport security clearances required for airport staff.
- Basic numeracy and demonstrated accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or sales experience is required; experience within luxury watches, accessories or airport/duty-free stores is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, hospitality or a related field is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Fiumicino, Lazio, Italy, with easy access to Rome.
