Swatch Group (Italia) is hiring a part-time Sales Assistant in Bergamo. Temporary contract for a customer-focused retail role.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service to build lasting customer relationships and drive sales conversions.
  • Actively engage customers on the sales floor, present product features and benefits, and close transactions using the store POS.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring displays, window dressings and stock presentation reflect brand guidelines.
  • Support stock management: receive deliveries, conduct inventory counts, replenish merchandise and process returns.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and contribute to promotional initiatives and store events.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation; assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of the watch portfolio and communicate brand heritage to clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset and a strong orientation to customer service.
  • Professional appearance and manner appropriate to a luxury retail environment.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
  • Fluency in Italian preferred; additional languages an advantage.

Experience

Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience is preferred, ideally within watches, luxury goods or fashion; candidates with 1+ year in a retail sales role will be favoured, though motivated entry-level applicants with strong customer skills may be considered.

Education

Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail or sales is a plus.
