Swatch seeks a Retail Sales Associate (fixed-term) in Saint-Tropez, France — seasonal boutique sales role (01.04–31.12.2026).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service by greeting customers, qualifying needs and advising on watches and accessories to convert sales.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, clienteling and follow-up.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, handle cash and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Maintain boutique presentation to brand standards: visual merchandising, window displays and stock presentation.
  • Support inventory management including receiving, stock rotation, stock counts and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Provide product knowledge and after-sales support, including warranty registration and basic technical explanations.
  • Participate in store events, seasonal activations and team briefings; ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience, preferably 1+ year in luxury goods, watches or premium accessories.
  • Fluent French with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; additional languages a plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Comfortable using POS systems, handling cash and performing basic administrative tasks.
  • Availability to work the contract period (01.04.2026–31.12.2026) including weekends and public holidays typical of resort retail.
  • Right to work in France.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience; prior experience in watchmaking, luxury goods or an upscale boutique environment is strongly preferred.

Secondary education (baccalauréat or equivalent); vocational training in sales or retail is an advantage.
