Swatch in Nantes is hiring a temporary Retail Sales Associate (CDD, 1 Jul–9 Aug 2026) to deliver customer service and drive in-store sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build rapport with clients to drive sales and brand loyalty.
- Demonstrate detailed product knowledge of Swatch watches and related accessories; advise clients on features and styling.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store point-of-sale system, handle payments and maintain cash procedures.
- Support visual merchandising standards on the sales floor and ensure product displays are attractive and fully stocked.
- Carry out stock management tasks including inventory counts, receiving deliveries and maintaining back-stock organisation.
- Manage after-sales requests and basic clienteling activities such as follow-up calls or reservations as required.
- Comply with store policies, loss-prevention procedures and maintain a professional presentation at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience, ideally within watches, jewellery or fashion retail.
- Availability to work the fixed-term contract from 1 July to 9 August 2026, including weekends and peak retail hours.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced boutique environment and meet individual and store sales targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in retail or luxury sales is an advantage.

Experience
Practical experience in retail sales is required; candidates with prior experience selling watches, jewellery or premium accessories will be preferred. Seasonal or temporary retail experience is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or sales training preferred.
