Swatch is hiring a Retail Sales Associate (Vendeur) in Aix-en-Provence, France — permanent full-time 35h boutique role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary in-store customer service, greeting clients, qualifying needs and providing personalised product advice to convert footfall into sales.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through effective clienteling, upselling and cross-selling of watches and accessories.
- Maintain boutique presentation standards: visual merchandising, window displays and on-floor stock rotation consistent with brand directives.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions and manage accurate cash handling and till reconciliation.
- Receive, inspect and replenish stock; assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate back-of-house organisation.
- Handle after-sales requests and basic service enquiries; escalate technical issues to the appointed service teams when required.
- Contribute to store administration: reporting daily sales, customer follow-ups and supporting promotional or launch activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to sustain a high-energy retail environment and continuous improvement of customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably in watches, jewellery or premium accessories.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Comfortable operating POS systems, performing cash handling and basic retail administration.
- Availability to work a 35-hour week, including weekends and public holidays as required by boutique opening hours.
- Fluent French spoken; additional languages an advantage (not explicitly required in source).

Typically 1–2 years of retail sales experience preferred; experience within watches, jewellery or luxury accessories is advantageous.
