Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and product advice to drive sales and cultivate repeat clientele
- Actively engage with customers on the shop floor to identify needs, demonstrate products and close transactions
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, manage cash handling and process returns and exchanges in line with policy
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure merchandise is replenished, tagged and presented to brand guidelines
- Support stock control activities including receiving deliveries, stock counts and loss-prevention procedures
- Contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets and participate in promotional events and product launches
- Build and maintain client records and assist with clienteling activities to grow a loyal customer base
- Ensure compliance with store operational procedures, health & safety and brand security protocols
Qualifications
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Proven retail or customer-facing sales experience, preferably within watches, jewellery or premium accessories
- Strong verbal communication and numeracy skills with attention to accuracy in transactions
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak trading periods
- Professional appearance and an evident passion for watches and brand culture
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year of retail sales experience, ideally in watches, jewellery or premium fashion; demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and handling POS systems.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent) preferred; retail or customer-service qualifications are advantageous.
