Swatch seeks a Learning Content Designer in Biel, Switzerland to develop engaging training and development content for its global team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive learning content across digital and traditional formats, including e-learning modules, videos, infographics, and instructor-led training materials
- Conduct needs analysis and perform learning assessments to identify training gaps and define learning objectives aligned with business priorities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with organizational strategy
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging, interactive learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and behavior change
- Manage the full content development lifecycle from concept and storyboarding through production, review, and iteration
- Stay current with emerging learning technologies, trends, and best practices in instructional design and adult education
- Evaluate learning effectiveness through measurement and feedback mechanisms, refining content based on learner outcomes and user experience data
Qualifications
- Proven experience in instructional design or learning content development, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing diverse learning content formats and modalities
- Advanced proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and content authoring tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging narratives

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Communications, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional certification in instructional design (e.g., ATD, IDOL).
