Swatch Group seeks experienced Omega Watchmaker in Miami, FL. Full-service movement repair, mechanical and quartz expertise, $75–$85K annual salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform full-service movement operations including dismantling, component repair/replacement, cleaning, reassembly, rate checking, and precision adjustment
- Execute technical repair and service on Omega brand watches according to established brand guidelines and procedures
- Analyze movement conditions and define appropriate repair methodologies and technical approaches
- Design, develop, or adapt tools and processes to address technical challenges during repair operations
- Coordinate with workshop team to maintain equipment, tools, and consumables inventories
- Verify completion of all required services and ensure watches are prepared to customer delivery standards
Qualifications
- Completion of watchmaking apprenticeship with satisfactory results (minimum requirement for full repair capability)
- Specialist knowledge of complicated movements or completion of post-apprenticeship training (WOSTEP or equivalent) for advanced repair work
- Demonstrated proficiency servicing mechanical, quartz, and chronograph movements
- Strong team collaboration and communication abilities
- Customer service orientation and excellence focus
- Ability to perform under pressure in a busy workshop environment
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented approach to horological work
Skills
Experience
Watchmaker with proven experience servicing all watch movement types, including basic mechanical, quartz, and chronograph systems. Candidates with formal watchmaking apprenticeship completion or equivalent TAFE certification are required; specialist repair candidates should have post-apprenticeship training (WOSTEP or comparable) and established expertise with complicated movements.
Education
Watchmaking apprenticeship completion or Basic Certificate in Watch Repair (TAFE); specialist repair candidates should possess post-apprenticeship certification such as WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Education Programme) or equivalent advanced horological training.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 85,000 per annum.
